Whether you are dancing, swinging a club or racquet, performing aerobic workouts, or throwing a ball, these
activities can cause the spinal column to lose its natural balance and mobility,
especially when the action is performed by a beginning athlete or "weekend athlete."
Chiropractic care balances the spinal column and relieves mechanical
and structural stress on the nervous system. Sports injuries nearly
always jar and misalign the spinal column because the spine is at the center of the body.
A blow to the ribs,
legs, feet, head, shoulder, or
torso radiates to the spine.
Thus anyone who plays any sport needs regular chiropractic spinal
checkups to ensure that his/her spine is balanced and free from
structural stress and subluxations (misaligned vertebrae causing
pinched nerves). That is why there are many amateur and professional athletes who wouldn't dream of entering competition without a chiropractic spinal check-up.
